IThe unique institution was established in the year 1983. This is the first and only higher secondary school for the benefit of physically handicapped and blind children run by the private management in the whole of Tamilnadu. The School imparts education and job oriented training and pave way for their future. Twenty five well qualified and experienced teachers serve in this noble institution. The school has the distinction in obtaining 100% results in SSLC and Hr.Sec. examinations during the past years. The students are given job oriented training in various crafts such as tailoring, stitching, chalk making and printing.

From 1985 the school conducts a musical troupe by name: “Sampu Orchestra” This Orchestra is unique of its kind and the only one in the whole of South India. The Orchestra whose participants are physically handicapped and blind has conducted many programmes throughout Tamilnadu and Kerala states and lauded by one and all. Recently the school has introduced nurses helper training and computer training for these unfortunate boys and girls.
